Diary

Dear Diary

A first hand account of Mike Shepheard's travels around the World in a Paradise Hammock

My girlfriend and I were given a Paradise hammock as a present by a friend before we set off on our round the world tour.

We were pleased to find how small it packed up and how little space it took up in our backpack. We firstly arrived in Thailand and travelled the country extensively.

Our hammock was double sized and we found it pretty easy to hang.

Compared to our friends string hammock, ours was much more comfortable and very quick and easy to put up.

Whilst travelling in Malaysia we would hang it up between a couple of palm trees during the day and then from the rafters of our hut during the evening.

Throughout Indonesia there were plenty of islands where our hammock became the perfect accessory to beach life.

As a piece of travelling equipment our hammock came in useful time and time again.

Anyone who is thinking of going travelling will certainly feel it's money well spent taking one along.
